Ganaha Hibiki, an energetic idol, almost being equal to Takatsuki Yayoi in that respect, comes from Okinawa which explains her tan skin. Because she is from Okinawa, she sometimes can't control her language, and often uses dialects that confuse people.
Hibiki is also very gullible in some sense, believing anything that President Kuroi Takao says. She also takes rivalry seriously and harshly trash talks at other idols, especially those from 765 Production. Despite this, she has a very friendly nature, and sometimes she unconsciously tries to make friends with the 765 Producer and his idols, though when remembering Kuroi's accusations, she snaps out of it and runs away.
Hibiki is also known to be extremely talented in dancing, and she is known as the 961 Production "Dance master".
In one of the stories, it is revealed that Hibiki came alone from Okinawa to become an idol. She feels lonely and sees in the Producer her absent older brother, so she does the "we are siblings that argue a lot but deep inside we love each other" routine with him.
In The iDOLM@STER SP, she is an idol from the 961 Production's "Project Fairy".
In The iDOLM@STER 2, she joins 765 Production with Hibiki. Despite this, in this game the "Project Fairy" never existed.
